The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Public Health Information Analyst to work in our Public Health Team, aiming to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for the Bradford District and help address health inequalities.

 

The post will provide specialist data and intelligence analysis and interpretation capacity to the team, in the context of Public Health. The post-holder will work alongside Public Health Intelligence Specialists, and another Public Health Information Analyst in the intelligence team. They will  provide specialist intelligence support to the design, implementation and evaluation of Health and Wellbeing  programmes and services, including working with the CCG, other Local Authority teams and wider partners. The post-holder will also be expected to work closely with members of the health and wellbeing  team and wider council colleagues where needed. You will need experience of working with data and a knowledge of statistical techniques. You will be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate an ability to plan, prioritise and manage your workload.
