Bradford Council are seeking to appoint a new Head of Service for Marketing and Communications. Reporting to the Assistant Director for the Office of the Chief Executive, this post is critical in positioning Bradford as a place to live, work, invest in and visit and in ensuring that communications and marketing is at the heart of delivery on our ambitions to build a sustainable and inclusive District.

 

The post holder will provide leadership across the Council on internal and external facing communications and engagement in a way that puts the interests of our children and young people, our citizens and our businesses at the heart of everything we do and with a culture of achievements and excellence in delivering real outcomes. 

 

Collaborative working across systems and sectors is hardwired into the way we do business in Bradford and we are looking for someone who will deliver enhanced partnership working, improved service delivery and innovative communications and act as a key interface between media, businesses/employers, communities, citizens and workforce. The post holder will also work closely with the City of Culture team and other stakeholders, playing a key role in the delivery of what promises to be an amazing programme.
