TRAINEE/HOME CARE ASSISTANTS (Days / Evenings / Nights)

Home Care Assistants - Band 4: £15,238 - £15,823 pa (pro rata for part time)

Trainee Home Care Assistant – Band 3:  £14,771 - £14,975 pa (pro rata for part time)

(A Living Wage supplement is payable in addition to the salary quoted to bring the rate of pay up to the equivalent of £7.85 per hour for hours up to 37 per week)

Various Established Posts (including nights)

Based at various locations across Bradford and surrounding areas which include, Keighley, Silsden and Ilkley.

 

We have vacancies within our Bradford Enablement Support Team which provides specialist enablement services to vulnerable people with assessed needs in the District.

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

 

The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile shown in this advert outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate.  Therefore it is essential that you provide examples in your application.

 

A full manual driving licence is required for all posts and you will be required to drive lease vehicles as part of your duties.

 

You will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and other religious festivals, as part of a rolling rota.

NVQ Level 2 or Care Certificate in social care is required for Qualified Home Care Assistant post.

Trainee Home Care assistant will be required to complete the Care Certificate.
