Project Manager

Are you passionate about supporting families who experience domestic abuse, trauma and loss? Are you a flexible, people, focused person who strives for excellence and treats others with respect?

We are looking for a skilled project manager to join our Family Action Bradford Therapeutic Service. You will lead on the design, delivery and development of an innovative early help family domestic abuse service, with responsibility for the line management and supervision of a small team of therapeutic practitioners. You will oversee the roll out of the DART (Domestic Abuse Recovering Together) group work programme through the Bradford Early Help Hubs and supervise Family Action project workers delivering holistic assessments and therapeutic interventions to children and their families. In addition you will manage Building Bridges, a small project offering therapeutic support to parents whose emotional needs impact upon their parenting.

You will be self motivated, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to provide high quality reflective supervision. You will have considerable knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on families and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the impact of deprivation, mental ill health, trauma and loss on children and their parents and carers. You will have a passion for working with people from diverse backgrounds, be creative and resourceful, with the ability to make complex decisions and solve problems in collaboration with staff, volunteers and service users. Ideally you will have experience of delivering and supervising group work or evidence based interventions.
