Intermediate (Level 2) Apprentice Learning and Development Technician -
(18 - 24 Month Temporary contract)
Salary:-
- Year 1 - £4.00 per hour
- Year 2 – National Minimum Wage for Age
Hours:- 37 per week
Based at St Peters House, Bradford
To undertake an Apprenticeship Scheme within the Department of Human Resources which will train the Apprentice to
support the workforce development team in the implementation of the Evolve IT Based Learner/Planning Management
System. You will be working as part of the ‘Evolve’ team to input and update the learning management system as required.
You must be able to:-
- Accurately input data onto a database, checking IT for accuracy.
- Carry out general IT based tasks by creating spread sheets and data bases.
- Carry out general administrative tasks in support of the Evolve Learner/planning system.
The apprentice will follow a programme of training relating to workforce development and will follow the training provided to achieve the appropriate skills, competencies and qualifications required for the role by the end of the training programme.
We are looking for an individual who is committed to undertaking an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Business Admin.
To qualify for the apprenticeship you must have GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or able to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy through assessment. (An assessment will take place before the interview stage).
Those that are already qualified in Level 2 Business Admin/Customer Service or have been trained to a degree level are not eligible to apply.

The following skills competencies apply to this post:-
- Has successfully used basic computer packages eg Word, Outlook, Excel
- Has successful carried out tasks which required the use of numeracy, literacy and transferring information accurately from one format to another
- Has demonstrable knowledge of how to interpret data to produce meaningful reports.
- Has understood and passed on simple information accurately to others eg on how to carry out a task
- Has implemented, maintained and managed accurate information systems both manual and computerised and types of record keeping
- Has successfully passed on information accurately both face to face and by telephone and kept accurate records

As this is an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship candidates will be assessed first on numeracy/literacy skills. Only successful applicants from the assessment centre/selection process will be invited to interview.
