We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to join our Facilities Team looking after the YMCA Culture Fusion Building. Opened in 2011 YMCA Culture Fusion is home to nine partners who welcome over 5000 YP aged 8-25 each year providing services such as local authority youth services, Connexions services, youth homelessness teams, leaving care services and NHS mental health support.

 

You will provide caretaking and facilities duties to ensure the effective, efficient and safe operation of the premises, whilst working alongside the Reception team to deliver excellent customer service to tenants and customers. 

 

Typical duties will involve:

 

  • Setting up rooms for meetings
  • Regular inspections of the building
  • Proactive and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Key holding – opening and closing of the building
