SPECIALIST TEACHER – PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL TEAM

Band MPS/UPS 3 + 1/2 SEN

Post 1: 1.0fte

Post 2: 0.8fte

Temporary Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2017

Based at Margaret McMillan Towers, Bradford BD1 1NN

 

An exciting teaching opportunity has arisen to join the Physical and Medical Team, part of SEN Teaching Support Services. This is a mainstream service working with children and young people (C&YP) of all ages.

 

This role will require a teacher with strong skills and a highly developed knowledge of the range of physical/ medical conditions experienced by C&YP and their impact on learning.

 

The post holder will require experience of identifying and assessing children’s physical and medical conditions, supporting the preparation of personal care plans, medical care plans and experience of collaborative working with health care professionals, teachers, parents and children in a mainstream school setting to improve pupil outcomes.
