This is a wonderful opportunity for an applicant who would like to join a friendly, passionate, established team and further develop their career within multi sited entertainment facilities. The Council promotes and actively encourages a healthy work life balance and to support that ethos the terms and conditions of employment are beneficial to staffs wellbeing, with excellent holiday allocation & a final salary pension. Personal and professional development is actively encouraged with many in-house and external training courses available to employees in addition to regular contact and mentoring from senior management.

Reporting to the Commercial & Catering Services Manager, the Assistant Manager will assist in achieving ambitious income targets and hitting GP’s monthly.  He/she ideally has hands on experience and a working knowledge of stock controls. The successful candidate will be capable of identifying and resolving performance issues with staff, enhancing service delivery for our customers and seeing through developed training strategies, policies & procedures to maintain/improve the effectiveness of the department and the Theatre.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working with a mid-sized kitchen team (restaurant of 82 covers + a café type service point) and will be able to demonstrate impeccable knowledge and day to day experience of stock control methods/cellar management.

The Assistant Manager will work with the food and beverage team to explore areas of expansion, additional business and growth. The ultimate aim and objectives are to improve the department's financial performance and enhance the customer's experience.
