SERVICE MANAGER - FOSTERING

Special C:   £48,318 – £51,600 pa

Established post
1 x 37 hours per week

Based at Sir Henry Mitchell House 4 Manchester Road Bradford BD5 0QL

This aim is supported by our exciting 4 year 3.2 million innovation bid, one aspect of which is to develop a workforce that is therapeutically trained and supported, motivated, aspirational and highly skilled, who have the best interests of the children at the heart of everything they do.

 

This is a great opportunity to take on the leadership of our internal Fostering Service.

 

You will be integral to delivering the recommendations of a recent review of the service and working alongside the Fostering Network to implement a Mockingbird hub within the city

 

You will have responsibility for managing the Fostering Service and Placement Coordination. You will be managing a budget of 18m+ and have oversight of over 450 Foster carers.

 

You must be an experienced manager, a fostering background would be desirable.

 

You must hold a recognised qualification –  Dip.SW, C.Q.S.W., BA in Social Work, AND

have a management Qualification – Diploma 5 IN Leadership and Management, MCI Level 4 in Management, DMS, CMS, is desirable.
