One Adoption West Yorkshire is a shared regional adoption service across the 5 West Yorkshire Local Authorities. It will be hosted by Leeds City Council with office bases across West Yorkshire. Core services will be the recruitment and assessment of all adopters, family finding for children and adoption support through all life stages and our vision is to ensure that children, adopters and birth parents in West Yorkshire receive an excellent adoption service.

We are seeking to recruit Administrative Assistants for the agency and are looking for someone who has the ability to work with the service to create and maintain a customer focused attitude and approach at all times that promotes positive relationships and generates a culture of openness and trust.

These posts are crucial to the support of the recruitment of adopters for children across West Yorkshire.

The post holders will need to be able to use information technology and it is expected that applicants will have a good knowledge of both Microsoft Excel and Word packages.

The work involves issues of a sensitive and confidential nature and applicants will need to display a clear understanding of the need for complete confidentiality at both application and interview stage.

You must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible with energy and commitment.
