Band 3 SCP 8-9 £7.90 - £7.97 per hour

 

An opportunity has arisen within Catering and Cleaning Services for a Caretaker to join the team at the above site, and other sites as required.

 

You will ensure that the Caretaking service is delivered to the required standards and provide a daily service as required.

 

You will carry out duties throughout the building as in accordance with Quality Procedures and work instructions.

 

Hours quoted are per week. Permanent unless stated

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.

From October 2016 Central Government will be introducing a new Code of Practice as part of the Government Immigration Bill, which specifies that all public sector workers in a “customer facing” role will have the necessary level of fluency in English appropriate for the role they will be undertaking.  This includes social workers, teaching staff and assistants and council employees.  This will require that a person working in a “Customer Facing” role can speak, listen and understand Basic English as a minimum.
