YMCA Bradford is looking to create a Bank of well suited staff members, who are currently looking for job opportunities. We are offering the suitable candidates the opportunity to enter our bank of staff. This means that when one of the job roles listed below becomes available and we require somebody to begin work as soon as possible, you will be our first port of call. 

 

YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER (£7.20 - £9.45 PER HOUR)

As a casual Youth Support Worker your role will be to support across a variety of projects working with young people between the ages of 16-25 to deliver short term project work based on funding and cover staff absence and holiday.


Job role:       

  • To plan and deliver high quality sessions and activities to promote the personal, educational and social development of young people as individuals and as part of a group.

  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and individual activities and achievements using the required templates

  • To work on own initiative and as part of a team to help create a positive environment, where young people feel safe and encouraged to fulfil their potential in line with the vision of YMCA Bradford.

 

EXERCISE CLASS INSTRUCTORS (£10 - £20 PER HOUR DEPENDANT ON SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS)

 

|Yoga | Pilates | Thi Chi | Circuits | Aerobics | Dance | Zumba |

 

We are advertising for a range of exercise class instructors in the above disciplines:

Job Role:

                  

  • Deliver a high standard, quality exercise classes in the above discipline(s)

  • Ensure professional standards are maintained and developed.

  • Educate and instruct participants on correct technique and proper form.

  • Support participants in achieving their fitness goals.

  • To ensure qualifications remain up to date and materials used are approved by your registered qualification. 

  • To ensure the health and safety of all participants.

 

CARETAKER (£7.77 PER HOUR)

 

 

You will provide caretaking and facilities duties to ensure the effective, efficient and safe operation of the premises, whilst working alongside the Reception team to deliver excellent customer service to tenants and customers.  Typical duties will involve:

  • Setting up rooms for meetings and events

  • Carrying out regular inspections of the building

  • Key holding responsibilities facilitate building opening and closing.
