Lunchtime Supervisor (89367)

2 x 5 Hours per week
Based at Crossley Hall Primary, Thornton Road, Bradford, BD8 0HJ

 

Band 3 SCP 8–9    £7.90 – £7.97 per hour

 

An opportunity has arisen within Catering and Cleaning Services for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team at the above site.

 

Your duty will be to supervise children throughout the lunchtime period, ensuring all rules and procedures are followed.

Experience is preferred but not essential as successful candidates will be supported through an induction training programme.  In return, you will receive opportunities to develop within the organisation and other benefits which you would expect from a Local Authority.

 

Permanent and Term-Time Only (38 weeks) unless stated

From October 2016 Central Government will be introducing a new Code of Practice as part of the Government Immigration Bill, which specifies that all public sector workers in a “customer facing” role will have the necessary level of fluency in English appropriate for the role they will be undertaking.  This includes social workers, teaching staff and assistants and council employees.  This will require that a person working in a “Customer Facing” role can speak, listen and understand Basic English as a minimum.
