Diversity Projects Officer

Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Birkenshaw 

£9,359 to £9,985 for 2 days per week (Full Time Equivalent £23,398 to £24,964 per annum)

 

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? A key post is now available, on job share, in the Diversity and Inclusion function at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. You will play a crucial role in delivering our diversity projects as well advising and supporting our staff on issues related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

 

Applicants must have an appetite for promoting dignity and respect at work and within our communities, coupled with a track record for first-rate project management/project support skills. You will need an advanced knowledge of equality legislation, experience of providing Diversity and Inclusion advice/guidance and an ability to communicate with employees at all levels. Experience of developing and delivering equality policies, activities and information is desirable.

 

We offer an excellent package, including Local Government Pension Scheme, free parking, a 37 hour flexible working week, training and development and sports and social clubs with free use of gym. This is a Job share opportunity.
