We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative HR professional to join our busy HR department. 

 

Reporting to the Head of HR, with a primary focus on supporting our Children’s Services Department you will be responsible for coaching, challenging, and influencing decisions with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of organisational strategy and programmes.  

Key skills/competencies:

 

  • Credibility as an HR generalist who isn't intimidated by complexity
  • Able to work as a true partner fully understanding the needs of the business
  • Able to balance a commercial mind with the ability to operate in a public sector environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to communicate in a professional manner at all levels
  • Conscientious with a pragmatic approach and excellent influencing skills
  • Able to work autonomously and prioritise workloads without supervision
  • Able to work under pressure and produce accurate results
  • Proven track record of positively leading and supporting people through change programmes
  • Degree and/or relevant HR qualification or considerable professional experience within a large multifunctional organisation
  • Experience of line management is advantageous
