Specialist Teacher - Physical and Medical Team

Salary:  MPS/UPS  3 + 1/2 SEN

Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2017

Based at Margaret McMillan Towers, Bradford BD1 1NN

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.


The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile is shown in this advert outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate.  Therefore it is essential that you provide examples in your application.



An exciting teaching opportunity has arisen to join the Physical and Medical Team, part of SEN Teaching Support Services. This is a mainstream service working with children and young people (C&YP) of all ages

 

This role will require a teacher with strong skills and a highly developed knowledge of the range of physical/ medical conditions experienced by C&YP and their impact on learning.

 

The post holder will require experience of identifying and assessing children’s physical and medical conditions, supporting the preparation of personal care plans, medical care plans and experience of collaborative working with health care professionals, teachers, parents and children in a mainstream school setting to improve pupil outcomes.
