WEST YORKSHIRE FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE

 

Fire Prevention Advisor

Wakefield Fire Station

£16,781 to £17,419 per annum

 

As a key member of the Fire Prevention Team the post holder will assist West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service in delivering fire and road safety strategies. The successful candidate will be required to work throughout the county of West Yorkshire carrying out home fire safety checks and educating the public and a range of community groups on fire safety, road safety and arson reduction.

 

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, have experience of delivering community safety initiatives and education within the community and be able to work on their own initiative. The posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) checks and require the possession of a valid driving licence.
