YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM SOCIAL WORKER
 (LEVEL 3) 
£28,203 - £33,106 pa

1 x  37 hours

Based at Bank House, Bank Street, Bradford

 

 

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner (Level 3 Social Worker) to join the Youth Offending Team.  You will play an important role in providing a social work service to prevent offending by contributing to the delivery of a range of interventions and services to young offenders, their families and victims.

 

It is expected that you will have experience of working with young people who offend and are challenging, and  have excellent report writing skills in preparing reports for the Courts.  You will be an excellent communicator, be enthusiastic and flexible about the service you provide. 

 

You will have experience of Looked After Children and Care regulations and able to undertake related and required assessments.

 

You will have experience of working with young people and able to work with them effectively on 1:1 basis and also in group settings. You will have experience of working with parents/carers enabling an input into the intervention plan.
