Age UK Bradford and District are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Business Development to join a successful and expanding local Charity and Trading company which is committed to improving life for older people in the Bradford District.

Age UK Bradford & District (AUKBD) is a Company Limited by Guarantee which has a turnover of £1.25million, consisting of 54 staff and 400 volunteers. We seek an experienced individual, with proven management and leadership skills who will lead on business growth and development strategy with key responsibility for business development, finance, human resources, IT and premises across the organisation enabling the charity to focus on the maintenance and development of services to people in later life.

·         Facility and Property Management

·         Health and Safety

·         Business Development

·         Reporting

·         Representing the organisation

37 hours per week with 25 days holiday per year plus public holidays

There is an expectation of flexibility to meet the needs of the organisation

Salary circa £30,001 p/a with a contributory pension scheme available
