YMCA Bradford is looking to create a Bank of well suited staff members, who are currently looking for job opportunities. We are offering the suitable candidates the opportunity to enter our bank of staff. This means that when one of the job roles listed below becomes available and we require somebody to begin work as soon as possible, you will be our first port of call.
YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER (£7.50 - £9.55 PER HOUR)
As a casual Youth Support Worker your role will be to support across a variety of projects working with young people between the ages of 16-25 to deliver short term project work based on funding and cover staff absence and holiday.
Job role:

To plan and deliver high quality sessions and activities to promote the personal, educational and social development of young people as individuals and as part of a group.

Maintain accurate records of sessions and individual activities and achievements using the required templates

To work on own initiative and as part of a team to help create a positive environment, where young people feel safe and encouraged to fulfil their potential in line with the vision of YMCA Bradford.
8-13 YEARS PROJECT WORKER (£8.50 - £9.55 PER HOUR)
As a Project Worker you will support our 8-13 projects providing early intervention and positive activities for children and young people in a variety of settings.
Job Role:

To work with a case load of children and young people aged 8-13 who have been identified as in need of personal, educational and social development.

To develop, with each child, a personal support plan that will include short term milestones and medium term targets. The support plan will be tailored to each child and focus on work to change those behaviours that are detrimental to the child’s future well-being as identified through assessment.

Undertake activities, including home visits, outreach, one2one mentoring and small group work in schools to enable children and young people to meet their support plan targets.
CARETAKER (£7.85 PER HOUR)
You will provide caretaking and facilities duties to ensure the effective, efficient and safe operation of the premises, whilst working alongside the Reception team to deliver excellent customer service to tenants and customers.
Job role:
- Setting up rooms for meetings and events
- Carrying out regular inspections of the building
- Key holding responsibilities to facilitate building opening and closing
