Youth Intervention Trainer

Peripatetic Covering West Yorkshire (based in Wakefield)      
£23,398 – 24,964 per annum


 

The purpose of this post is to support the Youth Intervention Team Manager in all aspects of the delivery and development of Youth Interventions delivered by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service included in the Youth Interventions Booklet.

 

You will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable young people and encourage and inspire behaviour change. You will have highly developed training skills and experience of programme leadership.

 

You will be skilled and experienced in developing and managing creative interventions with young people, be passionate about young peoples’ safety and have the right interpersonal skills to really make a difference.

 

The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring check and the possession of a full valid driving licence.
