SEN TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR
Grade E SP 1-4 £16,691 - £19,327 per annum

Based in Leeds City Centre  


West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) are looking to recruit a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Transport Administrator for their Education Transport SEN Team, who are responsible for procuring and overseeing contracts with taxi and minibus operators to provide transport from home to school for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

 

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, well organised and resourceful individual, who enjoys a challenge, to join the busy team.

 

The SEN Transport Administrator will provide support through preparing and issuing correspondence to taxi & minibus operators; updating and circulating contract schedules; liaising with local authorities and operators to action changes to pupil and pupil escort travel arrangements; using bespoke software to measure contract and amendment mileages; and also take the lead in producing and maintaining both paper-based and electronic filing systems & databases.

 

If you are able to demonstrate that you have a proactive and positive approach, the ability to work accurately while responding to rapidly changing situations & have experience of completing tasks to expected standards while meeting tight deadlines, then we would like to hear from you!
