Accounts Assistant

Fire Service Headquarters, Birkenshaw

£17,772 - £18,746 per annum

 

 

As a key member of the Finance team, the postholder will assist in the payment of creditor invoices and also organise and update financial records.

 

Principal duties of the role will include the processing and scrutiny of invoices, resolving differences with suppliers and maintaining Authority computer records.

 

Applicants will have experience of using Microsoft Office software with good keyboard skills and the ability to create and maintain excel spread sheets. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of financial regulations and standing orders in relation to invoices and possess sound literacy and numeracy skills.
