An opportunity has arisen to join the dedicated front of house team working for Bradford Museums and Galleries.
The post of receptionist will primarily be based at Bradford Industrial Museum though candidates may be required to work at other museum sites.
Duties will involve meeting, greeting and directing members of the public visiting, being responsible for the presentation and sales of the museum shop, monitoring CCTV equipment as well as general receptionist duties.
The successful applicant will have had experience in a reception or retail environment in the past 12 months, be able to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people, be able to operate telephone systems and accurately record messages and be sufficiently literate and numerate enough to deal with sales, enquiries and cashing up duties.
The post entails some weekend working as part of a staff rota system.
