ICT Programme Manager
Grade L. SP1 - 4 £38,443 - £44, 512 (Pay Award Pending)
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to strengthen its Implementation team (Delivery Directorate) to enable it to oversee a range of ICT projects through its Corporate Technology Strategy. These projects are delivered in partnership between the Implementation Team and the ICT team.
The role
The ICT Programme Manager is a key function that will lead on the delivery of a significant programme of technology projects which will form a key part of the wider corporate transformation programme that the organisation is currently delivering. You will:
- Lead the delivery across the high profile ICT programme;
- Be responsible for the delivery of an ICT programme with a value up to £3.5m, to put improved ICT infrastructure and systems in place to support the organisation in delivering positive outcomes for the region;
- Lead and instruct multi-disciplinary teams;
- Have experience of driving programmes to successful delivery, using known project and programme management methodologies to ensure that the full benefits of the programme are achieved;
- Have experience of delivering complex ICT programmes including change management;
- Be able to manage the effective use of resources;
- Work in partnership with internal departments and external suppliers across all aspects of the programme
- Have a collaborative working style and be a team player;
- Deliver projects on time, to quality and budget in a fast moving project environment;
