Band 7 - SO2: £21,166 - £31,371 pa (pro-rata for part-time posts and starting salary is dependent on experience)

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

We are looking to recruit to the above position to join our busy legal team in the 4th largest Metropolitan Council in England.
The successful candidate will have:
1) Demonstrable experience of criminal litigation work
2) The professional diploma in law grade 3 (ILEX) or demonstrable experience at that level.
In addition experience of civil litigation work including advocacy would be an advantage.
