Apprentice Administrative Assistant (Employment and Skills)

Grade D SP1 £16,016 – SP4 £18,544 per annum Pay Award Pending

Living Wage Supplement will be paid for salaries below £16,681

Fixed-term for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Based in Leeds City Centre

 

Apprenticeships are for all ages. They are a great way to gain recognised industry qualifications and earn a salary at the same time.

 

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Administrative Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Employment and Skills team, within the Economic Services Directorate of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a Business Administrator Apprenticeship at Level 3. The apprenticeship will typically take 13 months to complete and would involve 6 x day workshops, mentor visits and end point assessment.

The successful candidate will have good organisational skills, a positive can-do attitude, and strong customer service and communication skills. This is a busy and varied role and the successful candidate must be able to prioritise, meet multiple deadlines, use their initiative and work independently.
