ESTATE SURVEYOR

PO3/PO4: £34,106-  £39,961 pa


2 x 37 hours per week (Temporary  for 12 months)

Based at Argus Chambers, Britannia House, Bradford

 

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

 

The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile which is shown in this advert outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate.  Therefore, it is essential that you provide examples in your application.

 

You will be required to deliver estate management services on appointment to a temporary contract. The primary objectives of the post will be to deliver property agreements with third parties in accordance with the Council’s Community Asset Transfer Policy and government legislation, ensuring the continued delivery of community and social benefit from premises located across the Bradford district.

 

The role will report to the Senior Surveyor, Strategy and you will be required to negotiate, agree and prepare Heads of Terms in accordance with the landlord and tenant act, aligning outcomes with the Council’s strategic asset management plan.

 

To be considered you will need to be RICS qualified (MRICS/FRICS).

 

It's important that you are able to work with minimum supervision across the full property spectrum and have excellent communication skills with 3 years experience of working within property and dealing with community organisations.
