Based at Bank House, Bradford City Centre (initially) will be relocating to Sir Henry Mitchell House
The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile which is shown in this advert, outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate. Therefore, it is essential that you provide examples in your application.

You will work within the formal authority of the criminal justice framework undertaking quality assessments and delivering good interventions. You will also contribute to the work of the new Early Help programme.
You should have:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in a paid capacity with 10 – 17 year olds in a youth justice setting and/or a minimum of 1 year’s experience of working with young people and families in a crime/anti social prevention setting and/or a minimum of 2 year’s experience of working with socially disaffected young people.
- Knowledge and understanding of the new approaches to the prevention of youth crime and anti social behaviour.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work under pressure.
- Ability to work within the formal authority of the criminal justice framework.
- Evidence of personal development through basic academic achievements.
- Sensitivity to the victims of crime.
