Sharing Voices (Bradford) is an award winning community development mental health organisation. We work with people from Black and Ethnic Minority communities living with mental distress to enable recovery and facilitate the development of appropriate and responsive mental health services.
We seek an enthusiastic individual with experience of working with older people and those suffering from dementia and living with mental health distress. An essential requirement is that you have skills in supporting and befriending people living with mental distress. Furthermore you will demonstrate and posses knowledge and awareness of the cultural framework and context of the BME communities to support effective mental health recovery.
The post is fixed term until 31st March 2020 will be reviewed on a consistent basis and may be subject to termination due to funding situation and or reviews around performance.
