The Information Management Team sits within the Children’s Improvement and Partnership service, overseeing education data within Children’s Services and working across services. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Information Management Team for a Data Officer who will support the accurate collection, collation and interpretation of pupil, school and performance management information including devising, developing and maintaining relevant databases and spreadsheets.

As a Data Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of information held within the central education system. Working closely with the Senior Data Officer, you will ensure that discrepancies between the central education system and schools are thoroughly investigated and efficiently resolved.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels. You will also be committed to supporting Education / School Improvement to ensure you are able to promote positive relationships between schools and partners.
