Deputy Property Manager

£36,379 to £38,237 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Property Management Unit to provide day to day management of the unit and ensure implementation and management of planned refurbishment and maintenance programmes for all Fire Service properties.

Duties of the role include implementing building condition and record surveys, preparation of site and building survey reports, management of tender documentation, supervision of works on site and assisting the Property Manager with major schemes and initiatives.

Applicants will have a wide and extensive knowledge of building surveying in the management of buildings and their facilities. Candidates must have experience of dealing with tender documentation and building surveying and the co-ordination of multi discipline projects. The successful candidate will have prior management experience and possess a minimum of Chartered Institute of Building qualification or Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent, along with varied post qualification experience. A NEBOSH General Certificate is a pre-requisite as is a full valid car driving licence.
