ICT Infrastructure Engineer
Grade J. (Salary £30,253)

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to strengthen its Infrastructure team, as part of WYCA’s continued growth, the ICT Department is expanding to support the authority’s goals and vision, delivering new and innovative business lead projects, embracing new technologies and building robust and secure ICT systems in line with the Corporate Technology Strategy.

The Role
Working as part of a busy but lively Infrastructure Team, you will be providing senior level 3rd line technical support to ~500 users across multiple sites for server/network hardware, software and telephony based Incidents and Service Requests. There will also be opportunities to become involved in various large scale projects that form part of the current Corporate Technology Programme, charged with transforming the way the Combined Authority ICT service is provided.
The successful applicant will have proven experience of working in:
- Customer facing ICT support environment.
- Technical knowledge;
- Windows Server 2012/16
- Cisco networking
- VMWare virtual infrastructure
- Skype for Business
- Office365/Azure technologies
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Microsoft Certified System Administrator or equivalent experience.

- Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
