PROGRAMME SUPPORT OFFICER – DECENT HOMES

SO2/PO1  £28,485 - £31,601 pa

1 x 37 hours per week

Temporary funded for minimum of 18 months

Based at Margaret McMillan Tower, Bradford, BD1 1NN

 

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

We are looking for someone to be a part of our small team to assist, support and implement a range of projects within the council’s ‘Decent Homes’ priority from our Council Plan.

 

You’ll be helping to enable the council to deliver on its commitments set out in our Council Plan, by supporting and driving delivery of innovation, transformation and change.

 

As a Programme Support Officer you will be creating and managing all aspects of project documentation.  You will be co-ordinating the work of individuals who have projects assigned under their control within the Decent Homes outcome.  You will be assisting the Programme Manager and Programme Lead to plan projects, develop communication plans and manage risk.

 

You should be familiar with the national housing & homelessness agenda.  You should also be able to demonstrate project management skills, have good communication skills and be able to undertake structured problem solving activity.

 

You will need to be qualified to NQF Level 4 and have a qualification, training or experience in Project Management amounting to 2 years.
