That’s precisely what is on offer at the Combined Authority where a £1bn devolution deal has put the Leeds City Region at the forefront of the Government’s Northern Powerhouse delivery agenda.

 

The Combined Authority brings together five districts plus York, the business community via Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and also takes in the former Passenger Transport Executive (branded Metro. Overall, the Combined Authority covers a population of around 2.5 million people and represents the largest economy outside London.

 

 

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Combined Authority as a Project Manager.

 

We are shaping transport in the region and we are looking for a Project Manager who has experience in capital projects and project management expertise to help deliver our exciting plans.

 

Based in Leeds City Council, with occasional travel to the Combined Authority’s offices in Leeds, you will be responsible for providing project management leadership to major infrastructure transport schemes to improve transport in Leeds.

 

The role will also include support for business case writing and appraisal of business cases for both transport and economic regeneration.

 

The person

We are looking for a candidate with a project management background who is proactive, with excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong partnership relationships.
