Is a community based charity established in 1994, based in West Leeds and delivering work city wide covering young people’s services, drug and alcohol treatment and support, counselling, health education, economic wellbeing and support for adults with complex needs. Barca-Leeds is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

 

Help create a healthier future for disadvantaged communities in West Leeds

Our Health and Wellbeing services deliver a range of community based and outreach services, which improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the disadvantaged areas of West Leeds. Current projects include our Better Together community health development service, Wise Up to Cancer project, Urgent Care Service for frequent users of A&E and PEP social prescribing service.  We believe that when people are supported to manage their own health and support one another to do the same, individuals and communities build resilience and become stronger. We are appointing to the following post to lead our community health delivery:

 

PROJECT MANAGER (Healthy Living Services) – Job ref HW027

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled manager to lead the Barca Healthy Living Services which includes: PEP (social prescribing), Urgent Care (A&E interventions), Better Together and Wise Up To Cancer (health outreach) services. You will be a self -motivated and proactive person who is keen to support the development and growth of services whilst maintaining high quality and great performance delivery. Our feedback is fantastic – the service makes a real difference to people’s lives – come and join us.

37 Hours per week

£33,660 Full Time, Permanent Contract
