The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile which is shown in this advert, outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate. Therefore, it is essential that you provide examples in your application.
We are looking to appoint three new intelligence officers to work in the multi-agency Child Sexual Exploitation hub and Targeted Early Help.
You will work with partner agencies in the statutory, voluntary and private sector to gather, analyse and share information with agencies. You will be required to provide performance reports and other related reports to senior management, the police and Bradford Children’s Safeguarding board. Two of the posts will be working on the Families First programme and you will be seeking to ensure we maximise families engaged with the programme and claims for successful family outcomes. This will include reporting requirements set by DCLG as well as local requirements.
The successful candidates will:

Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field working within either a statutory or voluntary organisation.

Have experience of working with partner agencies

Be able to work on own initiative

Have good analytical skills

Have good presentation skills

Be committed to delivering high quality services

Have a clear focus on, and be able to achieve, good performance outcomes
You must be confident that police clearance would be obtained.
