The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

With a diploma level qualification, or similar level of experience in a similar field, you will have a strong interest in adult social care. You will believe that people should be supported to exercise choice and control over their lives.
Our commissioning service supports social care providers to develop personalised support which ensures that the person’s voice is central to all decision making. The team is at the forefront of programmes of change which are helping us deliver our home first vision. The roles are diverse in this team and include market engagement, stakeholder communication, development of flexible support contracting arrangements including Direct Payments, Individual Service Funds and Personal Health Budgets.
