Visitor Ambassador
Band 5: £23,114 pa - £23,893 pa (Pro rata for Part Time Posts)
2 x 13 hours per week (pro-rata);
October - March: 12hrs per week
April – September: 14hrs per week
Based at Ilkley Visitor Information Centre
Bradford District welcomes visitors from far and wide and an opportunity has arisen for a Visitor Ambassador, who will be based at Ilkley Visitor Information Centre, but will work across the district as required.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, retail experience and a real passion for Ilkley and the Bradford district. You will be working within a small team providing visitor information, responding to wide range of enquiries in person, by telephone, email and post. You will also be involved in keeping online information updated including on our tourism website www.visitbradford.com.
The successful applicant with have GCSE English or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in a related field. Local knowledge of Ilkley and the Bradford District and excellent ICT skills are essential.
This post will include regular weekend working.
