Marketing Assistant
Based at our District Office in Wrose
Age UK Bradford District is an independent local charity, which supports older people to live their best life.
The Marketing Assistant is a key role, contributing to all aspects of the Charity’s marketing and social media presence.
The postholder will ensure that all aspects of the charity’s marketing activities work to increase awareness levels, together with ensuring a dynamic online presence is developed and managed. You will do this under the direction and supervision of the Senior Commercial Development Manager.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that direct sales, promotional and marketing activity is optimised and will also be required to represent the organisation at internal and external events.
Experience in a marketing environment is essential, as is knowledge of website management and social media platforms. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a pressurised environment. Due to the nature of the role, we require the postholder to have a flexible approach to days and hours of work.
Full driving licence required and access to a car as occasional travel throughout the District is required for this role.
Salary £17,500 per annum Pro rata, actual salary £8,277.03
17.5 hours per week over 2.5 or 3 days
Monday to Saturday (may include Sundays in future)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
