Casual Chefs
£16,863 pa   Band 4 £8.74  per hour

Based at Alhambra Theatre & St George’s Concert Hall  + on occasion Kings Hall Ilkley

To support and supplement the existing chefing team at the above venues, we are looking to recruit a number of casual Commis Chefs (Casual - as and when required.) Hours are offered on a casual basis and may be withdrawn by either party giving a minimum of two hours notice.

You will need a minimum of 12 months experience working as a casual support chef in a similar sized kitchen or restaurant (82 covers) or have experience of small – medium and large scale events and function catering (Kings Hall Ilkley max covers 220).

Work is available Monday to Sunday depending on the needs of the business at the three venues.

You will need to be enthusiastic, be able to work within the role to the highest standard dealing with tight schedules within the kitchen environment at all the above named sites.

Applicants must have the ability to work both using their own initiative and as part of a team, and display willingness to learn and update personal training as required.

A working knowledge of Food Hygiene and relevant Health & Safety knowledge would be desirable.

Full training and a uniform will be given.
