We are a successful and thriving Educational Psychology team that has managed to maintain a healthy balance of statutory work and both school and project traded work. Due to increased demand and the promotion of previous post holders, we are seeking to appoint two additional specialist senior EPs. The Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist roles combine strategic project work with casework and allow the post holders to develop their skills across several key areas whilst maintaining a link to core EP work.

The projects we are currently seeking a lead for include:

  •  Early Career Development Lead: we are seeking an EP with a special interest in working with early career and trainee EPs, to help them transition into the role and become strong, informed, and competent practitioners. The successful candidate will work closely with our local EP training provider to ensure a seamless progression for new entrants.
  •  Building Better Transitions: As part of the Change Programme, we are seeking an EP to take the lead in working with Sencos to identify best practice in transitions including developing appropriate provision in secondary schools.

If you are looking to develop your skills in either of these areas, please read on.

Why Choose Bradford?

  • Well-staffed, highly respected team both within the LA and with partners
  • A balance of work with time allocated to a commissioned project, alongside schoolwork and statutory work.
  • EHCA allocation fixed, with dates agreed at the beginning of the year.
  • Full flexibility of working from home, office, or elsewhere, and having supervision and meetings in person or virtual.
  • Easily accessible by road and public transport from anywhere in West Yorkshire.
  • HCPC fees paid.
  • Oh – and did we mention we are City Of Culture next year so it will all be happening here!!

All applicants must be fully qualified Educational Psychologists and be HCPC registered.
