An exciting opportunity to drive educational improvement for Children and Young People in Bradford.

Bradford Council is expanding its school improvement service and looking for talented school improvement experts who can offer knowledge and experience of how schools can improve at pace and who have the credibility to engage with stakeholders and partners across the school system.

This is a key role in the Education and Learning School Improvement team - you will be required to support and challenge leaders across the district, ensuring they achieve the very best for all learners and focus on our mission of all schools being good or better.

We are seeking to recruit two school improvement/education advisors to monitor, challenge, support and empower school leaders to deliver high quality provision for all pupils within schools, as well as deepen accountable partnerships, drawing on their collective expertise and combined resources to enable all pupils to achieve their potential and ambitions.

You will need to be able to demonstrate you can forge effective professional relationships at all levels - with schools and multi academy trusts; with governors, Heads and Principals, teachers and other agencies.

It is important that you share our wider vision for the service and can work with our teams to improve and enhance our traded offer - ensuring we continue to deliver high quality services that schools value and trust. To be successful, it is likely you will have led school improvement in a relevant context - either as a school leader or perhaps in an advisory role with a local authority, academy trust or other school-led system.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team who are committed to delivering improving results. You will find talented colleagues ready to support you every step of the way.

An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post

We look forward to hearing from you.
