This post is only open to Bradford Council Employees who are on Established or Fixed Term Contract because the Council has to consider employment opportunities for its workforce.
The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
The criteria under special knowledge and experience on the job profile shown outlines what level of fluency you will be expected to demonstrate. Therefore it is essential that you provide examples in your application.
An exciting acting up opportunity has arisen within the Workforce Development Team in Children’s Services.
We are looking for an experienced level 3 (minimum) Children’s Social Worker to join our well-established team of trainers to help to develop the skills of our professional workforce of tomorrow.
The successful postholder will need to demonstrate:
· An enthusiasm to develop creative learning development opportunities.
· Mentoring experience in nurturing ASYE and Student Social Workers
· An understanding of Social Work Reform
· A working knowledge of the PCF
· Experience of implementing the knowledge and skills statements into their practice
· Be registered with HCPC
