Service Improvement and Quality Assurance Officer

£23,866 to £25,463 per annum


An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join one of the country’s leading fire and rescue services working at Fire Service Headquarters in the Service Improvement and Assurance Team. We are looking for candidates who are committed to our vision of making West Yorkshire safer and who demonstrate the values of team, responsibility, integrity, dialogue and learn.

 

The postholder will support internal and external audits to ensure best value to stakeholders, and prepare for and facilitate the Inspection process carried out by Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS). 

 

You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders eg. other fire and rescue services, partner services (eg. police) in order to exchange appropriate knowledge and information in relation to service improvement processes.

 

You should have significant experience and involvement with internal and external quality assurance process within a large organisation and be able to evidence how you have maintained quality assurance systems previously.  You will have experience of collating, scrutinising and analysing data and be IT competent with a range of Microsoft packages.
